WILL collects information by various methods including information actively provided by its clients, and information arising from providing services to our clients. We may also collect information from other entities servicing the client, including other employment and training service providers and government income providers.
The types of personal information we collect include name, contact information, employment history, education, resume type information, job qualifications and disabilities, information required by program funders, information learned or compiled while providing the Services, retraining needs and other information reasonably required to assist clients with WILL’s counseling and training services. We may record calls to or from our customer service representatives for purposes of accuracy, performance reviews and training.
This information is used for providing assessment, counselling and training services. WILL may use aggregate or anonymous information which will not be linked to identify individuals for various other uses for itself and third parties.
WILL does not share personal information with any third parties except as disclosed in this policy. WILL may provide personal information to WILL’s consultants, subcontractors and professional advisers (which shall be bound by privacy obligations) to assist WILL’s uses disclosed herein. With the express consent of a client, WILL may disclose personal information to other entities counseling and serving the client. Government agencies that fund or are connected with services WILL provides may oblige WILL to disclose certain information to them, or to use databases or other tools they provide. Privacy issues for such tools are the responsibility of the applicable government agency, not WILL. Once provided to government agencies, personal information is governed by applicable public sector privacy legislation and the applicable government agency’s privacy policies, and is no longer the responsibility of WILL.
WILL may use information collected to make contact with clients and graduates to advise them of specific initiatives undertaken by the organization. If such contact is not desired, clients and graduates must advise their counselor or the WILL Privacy Officer.
Personal information is stored in a combination of paper and electronic files. They are protected by security measures appropriate to the nature of the information.
Clients may review their personal information contained in WILL files by contacting the WILL privacy officer. If an individual believes that any of their personal information is inaccurate, we will make appropriate corrections.
WILL may amend this policy from time to time. If such amendments affect how WILL uses or discloses personal information already held by WILL in a material way, WILL will obtain consent.
Notwithstanding the general terms of this policy, the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information may be made outside of the terms herein to the extent provided for in any applicable privacy or other legislation in effect from time to time.
WILL may disclose personal information to another entity purchasing (including for diligence purposes prior to purchase) the assets of WILL, provided that entity abides by this or a similar privacy policy.
